"Not Ready to Make Nice"

Such sweet Vindication!

Hello Clear Channel? Are you listening?

Heh, Heh!

Bless the Chicks for their courageous and unflinching stand in these oppressive times.

17. I caught that too
I wondered if anyone else caught that. I haven't watched the Grammys in years. I wanted to watch this year when I heard Mary J was going to perform. I was pleased she won awards. Everyone was excellent.

"Winky" is the mascot for my music web site. I'm still a big fan, and will certainly trot out Joe V. when the occasion calls for it--like, for example, if Bon Jovi were to win a music award!

They had you crawlin'
And you came up flyin'

26. ABSOLUTELY ... Xtina completely blew the doors off the joint.
And the Chicks were transcendent as they sang "Not Ready to Make Nice" ... I started crying as Natlie Maines belted out these lyrics (with the crowd going NUTS):

It’s a sad sad story when a mother will teach her/
daughter that she ought to hate a perfect stranger.

And how in the world can the words that I said/
send somebody so over the edge,/
That they’d write me a letter sayin’ that I’d better/
SHUT UP AND SING or my life will be over?

OMG ... GAVE ME CHILLS!!!
