To ALL the Hillary bashers
it seems to me that none of the other candidate supporters except those for Obama are constantly bashing and trashing Hillary. Then they post more trash about the conflict between the posters. Well if they weren't so upset that Hillary is pulling away from Obama and is surely going to leave him behind they would stop the trashing and post positive quotes, articles and only good stuff about their candidate. Goodness knows why they can't. Jealous of Hillary I guess. I just see that Edwards is coming on strong and pretty soon they will have to change their tactics and start to trash him.

See the bottom left corner? That's where most of DU stands on the actual issues.

See this? Think I care much if it's Obama OR Clinton OR Edwards? Of those three, Hillary is furthest to the right. The distance between any of them and McCain, though - it's not all that much.

10. Bitwit, as a Hillary supporter, I think this kind of post isn't helping our cause
while jealousy could be a factor, there are quite a few people here who have legitimate, issues-based disagreements with Hillary, and this isn't true just of Obama supporters. Let's try not to make generalizations - I know I don't like it when people make negative generalizations about Hillary supporters.

The SCOTUS isn't going to repair the damage that her corporate capitalist masters will have her do...

You like NAFTA, just wait 'till you see what she'll bring up...

You like the for-profit health insurance mafia, just wait 'till she starts shoveling more money their way and STILL NO UNIVERSAL COVERAGE...

You like the NYSE, just wait 'till their employee hillary shows up at the White House...

Hell, the courts are already stacked with right-wing judges hand-picked by ray-gun/bush I/bush II -- the courts are a lost cause.

SCOTUS is stacked with pro-corporate right-wing judges, 7 of them to be exact so we're screwed there too.

I'd rather have someone in the office who would appoint the right kind of judges AND be a REAL Democrat...for the people not for the corporations...

48. If that's how you see it, you aren't seeing a clear picture.
It's the Pro-Hillarys who are constantly bashing anyone who says anything negative about Hillary. And, ironically, no one would probably jump in the fight if it wasn't so obvious that there's a surge in the way the pro-Hills are astro-turfing articles on this newsgroup; and attacking anyone who disagrees with them. It mirrors the media blasting that they're doing outside.

And it's so incredibly obvious that they're pulling every media stop to get her numbers up for Iowa; and to psych out anyone who supports any other candidate into believing the race is over.

Shame on you all.

As for Edwards and Obama. I'm willing to bet most people on this newsgroup would love to see that ticket in '08, either man can go first as president.

49. wow--a real genius among us! I am no Obama supporter & I detest HRC
She is a forked-tongued, insincere, triangulating, subversive war monger/profiteer.
She is not a "leader" because she has never really taken a stand on anything before checking to see what everybody else is doing and which way the wind is blowing. She never just outright says anything, she waffles, she flip-flops, she covers her ass.

And she never met a corporate dollar she wouldn't kiss ass for. She consorts with Rupert Murdoch. She would do anything to keep the corporatists happy. She is a PNACer, a trojan horse who puts on a front of "Democrat" while implicitly promising the corporatists the world.

You like the way things are now? Then vote for Shillary, because A Vote For HRC Is A Vote For The Status Quo. Prepare for at least another decade of war if HRC is foisted on us the way jr. shit stain was, the way Kerry was foisted on us as the candidate in 2004--no thanks to HRC's behind-the-scenes ops, I have no doubt, a person she then subverted and dissed.

I have been voting for Democrats since 1968.
I just see through her, that's all. She is transparently repuke-lite. I suppose I sound "bitter" because I see people, as usual, falling for her bullshit, not having the foresight or the intuition to see that she is not who she appears to be, and I have the sinking feeling that, again as usual, I along with all other Americans will be the victim of stupid people's voting. The problem with "majority rule" is that the majority often is not that wise.

...count on it. She's more palatable, slightly, than the goof balls on the Republican side but

But she won't make it across the finish line, even with all of the props form corporate media.

64. Myself I like Hillary Clinton and Obama but oppose both
simply because if we nominate Hillary Clinton or Obama we will lose in 2008 in my opinion. I don't think people on DU in the more Democratic leaning states have any idea or concept of the prejudice that still exists in the states we need to carry such as Ohio. I know not enough men will vote for Hillary and don't believe people here are ready for a black President.

74. I thought "this thread ought to be good"
But the original post isn't all that edgy.

Silly attacks like this make it seem a lot more powerful than it is though!

77. Blah Blah Blah... Tell us why you like Hillary. Why can't DUer's
who like Clinton make a convincing list of reasons why Hillary is worthy of the Democratic nomination.
Where is she on unions?
Fair trade?
War?
