Non-smokers die every damn day.

1. Many of them do thanks to the second-hand smoke produced by the selfish addicts around them.
Edited on Sat Oct-13-07 09:09 PM by jefferson_dem
Those who don't ... outlive their smoker buddies by ten years, on average.

Cheers! :toast:

than the smoking non-dog owner????

35. So if you're a non-smoking dog owner whose dog smokes, it all evens out.
There's something scientific in here to be gleaned, but I'll be damned if I know what it is. I think I'll just have a cigarette and meditate upon it. :smoke:

6. So we should not smoke, avoid those that do, and have dogs as pets.
If healthy long lives matter to us.

So...that.

4. As a non smoker, I can't wait for this. . .
Philip Morris has secret plans to launch Australia's first hand-held electronic smoking device, which it claims will reduce second-hand smoke by more than 90 per cent.

The controversial "Heatbar" is about the size of a mobile phone and is said to heat specially designed cigarettes without burning them.

22. Apparently that's not enough. The tobacco Nazi's want folks like her to pay and suffer more.
Edited on Sat Oct-13-07 09:37 PM by TahitiNut
It's all in the name of "helping" though. Maybe all those who fall ill to their smoking habit should be put in "special" hospital wards where the tobacco Nazi's can file through all day and spit on them and call them names??

28. She was a "tobacco Nazi"
She watched HER mother die of lung cancer, and one of her best friends. She decided to quit when she was in her 50s. Then she got my father & my sister to quit.

She still got lung cancer herself.

1)guy hit broadside... He on his motorcycle,(wearing Helmet) she in a car w/ cell phone on ear, ran the stop sign. He was a friend 36. you are 400% more likely to become envolved in a car accident with a cell phone. than without.

2)father, smoked for 50 years. found the love of his life. quit smoking. spent the last 10 years of his life with her. Lingered for year and a half w/ prostate cancer. he was 83. should he have given up using his prostate?:sarcasm:

point is we are ALL gonna die one way or annother. stop worring, and enjoy it while your here.O8) :toast:  :grouphug:

http://www.cancer.org/docroot/PED/content/PED_10_2X_Cigarette_Smoking_and_Cancer.asp

Each year, a staggering 440,000 people die in the US from tobacco use. Nearly 1 of every 5 deaths is related to smoking. Cigarettes kill more Americans than alcohol, car accidents, suicide, AIDS, homicide, and illegal drugs combined.

Edited on Sat Oct-13-07 11:33 PM by Froward69
A "Heaven" way to die would be bieng chased to death by 50 naked women. I digress... like ol' Groucho there he smoked Cigars he said from the time he could walk. it was a part of him... he was 87, pneumonia flat out old age. why do I think you would like to remove his Cigar from his mouth??? "A woman is an occasional pleasure but a cigar is always a smoke."~ Groucho Marx

If you take all deaths. vs lung throat cancer they still pail in comparison. preventible yes... like removing ALL cell phones when you drive? why not?? or pneumonia?

32. Yeah, right
And iPods are more dangerous than eating tons of McDonald's food every day for years, until you develop heart trouble.

It's amazing, the things that nicotine addicts will come up with, to justify their cancer stick fix.

I'm a nonsmoker and I hardly ever die. I can go days without dying.
So put that in your neighbor's pipe and second-hand smoke it!

"smoke" in it, even if it's something benign like the expression, "Holy smokes! - it will receive no fewer than 1,800 posts.

We're off to a good start with this one! :bounce:
