Lindsay Graham on Blitzer's Sunday gagfest chipping away at Gen. Sanchez.
Sez he talked to the guy when he was Iraq and the guy told him always that he had enough personnnel. Kinda making it sound like the failures belong to the general and that this is somehow payback for not being promoted due to the Abu Gharib horror.

1. Surprise, surprise.
They turn the Slime Machine on anyone who disagrees with them. They never discuss the issues on the merits; they just disparage the person. It's what they always do. Every time.

3. And now the proxies come out to smear for BushCo
Graham is a smug ass-kisser that would set himself on fire if ordered to do so my his masters.

I'd be willing to bet that he was singing the praises of Gen. Sanchez not too long ago.

4. It would be so pleasent if 5 years from now they interview graham again on the success of the missio
It won't happen, at least as long as the MSM continues to be an agent of corporate influence, but it would be nice to see how these hawks justify the garbage they are spewing now

As Murtha said, the public is so far ahead of those in Congress

2006 was only the beginning

When Congress is taken back in a HUGE way by the Democrats in 2008, the Democrats had better get the message, ITS THE WAR!!!

5. I'm sure Sanchez really did tell Graham just that at the time.
Sanchez can be bitter and still be right in his hindsight criticisms, though.

6. And I'm sure if Sanchez said they needed more troops Graham would
have gone right to the Senate asking for more troops? Or Sanchez would be fired? Which is true?

8. Blitzer would push Graham on our Length of Stay in Iraq.
But Lindsay did say that if Malika Government has not made
progress in Political Solutions, "We should look for replacements.
IMO this means next step, replace Iraqi Leaders and continue
the surge.

Sanchez very honestly said we will be in Iraq for ten years.
Another time he said something to the effect"war without end".

I would like to say something here in defense of Sanchea.

The Media choose not to understand or explain the Military.

The Military exists and works well because of its discipline.
The ability of Officers to accept orders from above without
question. How often have we referred to Colin Powell's being
a good soldier.

Some have said that Sancez should have come forth at the time.
I say Get a Grip on Reality.

If you are a LT.General this means you have put in quite a few
years of your life. Your Pension for Retirement is buildin.

LtGenerals are not going to cross the Generals above them.
Generals are not going to cross Sec Defense in time of war.
They may express or question him, but once he says this is
it-They must salute and follow orders.

These people make me sick. Reality is if Sanchez had come
forward at the time--the WH, ADM, GOP would have swiftboated
him blind. He probably would have been forced to retire
there on the spot losing all benefits.

One GOOd THING. I heard a report on NBC this AM that the
at the Pentagon there is a heavy discussion going on about
Generals stepping up to the plate and confronting issues.

Right now they are trying to determine How and at what specific
time or under what conditions an officer could come forward
and not be punished. This is a good thing if they can
reach conclusions.

As it is now-Generals obey Commander In Chief,

Your healthcare insurance for you and your family is building
