Insight into Voters Heads That Scared Me
I was so disgusted yesterday at the gym. I was on my machine and these 3 lady friends (not my friends.. friends with each other) were taking politics (or their version of it) while CNN was on the TV in front of us. These women seemed like educated women who talked about worked (high power job types) and the politics. They were all saying (and they were all in agreement) that they didn't think they could bring themselves to vote for Hillary, but maybe she wouldn't be so bad if she actually got in. They thought Barrack seemed like a nice guy, but didn't have a chance..... then they said they really like Mitt Romney (he seems put together and "classy") and although Rudy is okay they could never vote that wife of his in as the first lady. They all said that "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish Al Gore would jump in". All in all they thought they may just sit this election out. That was the complexity of their conversation and sadly I think they represent a lot of people. Not enough curiosity to find out about anyone, not caring out about issues, but going with their first impressions and not seeming like they cared much about life outside of their own. Listening to these people I realized how dangerous the media is.... that's where these people decide everything (and they probably get their news while their waiting on the Britney Spears update). I'm scared a Mitt Romney could win like George Bush. Because people think he seems like a swell guy with a wife that fits their first lady bill. So sad.

1. Aside From The Romney Part, I AGREE WITH THEM 100%
I DESPERATELY WANT AL GORE TO RUN!

I honestly don't know if I could bring myself to vote for Hillary.

Obama doesn't stand a chance against Hillary, and unfortunately, there's too much racism in this country, to make his ultimate victory at the top of a ticket, not a sure thing.

If Al Gore can get these women, then he can WIN THE PRESIDENCY!

3. You're Right About That
They're Idiots obviously.

The intelligent part of them is attracted to Gore.

But the Britney Spears part of them thinks romney is put together well.

I bet they would prefer having a beer with * over Mr. Gore.

If Al does run, I hope you see them again, and tell them they better back up their mouths With Their Votes for Mr. Gore.
