Ms Speaker of the House, may be a historic figure but she is also, WEAK, STUPID and the QUEEN of bad judgement calls. I can't watch this train wreak anymore....I'm not thinking about politics for at least 3 months. It's killing me....

I luv the party. I hate the leadership. Our leaders are losers, they need to be replaced....

I'll be back in three months!!!

1. Except the bad leaders the weak ones don't fight hard enough against.

3. Thank god! I asked you this on another thread. With a grand total of 233
Democrats in the House, how would you have gotten 50+ Republicans to side with you? Losers, IMO, are those people who constantly critize others who, in reality, have no means of performing miracles.
Good Bye.

4. What's the count?
Plenty to send an impeachment inquiry to the senate. Plenty to not send anymore war funding. Only one more than the opposition is needed.

5. what about (head)strong leaders with bad judgement?
I think it is even worse. Weak leader wouldn't have gotten us into Iraq war, would he?

6. Another thing I want to know
Edited on Thu Oct-18-07 01:06 PM by mmonk
is why do freshmen get to call the shots of the House? What have they earned over people like Conyers? Why were they allowed to go make deals with the constitution's worst enemy, Dick Cheney to grant more unconstitutional powers? I won't get over no matter the number of apologists. But as a person with no voice nor one that has been allowed to retain the rights and guarantees provided through the constitution, there's nothing I can do except continue to be a squeaky wheel until squeaky wheels are silenced in one way or the other.

8. Yes, there's one worse thing:
STRONG leaders with bad judgement.

Like Cheney, Bush, etc.

People used to say of Maggie Thatcher, "At least she's a strong leader!" To which a friend of mine responded, "You can have a strong horse, and it can still pull you over a cliff!"
