1. Not so much the value of the degree, but of one in particular who holds it.
If he feels its worthless its because he made it so himself.

6. A lot of DC and NYC law firms think that degree is worth $160,000+
and welcome minorities.

10. To be fair, they didn't welcome minorities in the 1960s and 1970s.

They saw the person, the African American, who probably wouldn't "fit in". I doubt they even paid much attention to the Yale Law degree after becoming aware that he was African American.

Of course, I think it's Clarence Thomas who is worth 15 cents.

7. And Clarence Thomas' two cents are worth how much?
Hint: not even two cents.

8. I guess an undergraduate degree from Yale due to legacy admissions is worth 1 cent
Perhaps Thomas didn't mean this, but according to his logic, wouldn't that mean that Bush's degree is even more worthless, seeing as how he got in on legacy admissions?

9. He had to wait MONTHS before he got a job offer. Poor little Clarence.
Maybe prospective employers thought that huge chip on your shoulder might get in the way of you doing your job, Clarence.
