Change of title: NAVARRETTE & OBAMA making it generational/Boomer/Vietnam

This Ruben NAVARRETTE dude, ex-Affirmative Action, genetically "Hispanic" but not so by issues, syndicated by the Wash.Post & CNN.com because they don't know that "Hispanic" is, hates "White Liberal males" (who gave him a hand up) and disses all things Dem while sucking up all Rethug things named Shrub -------

HATES

the Dem Party, but also the Vietnam generation, the Baby Boomers. This is a trend.


O.K., fine. In '04, he poo-poohed KERRY's military credentials, saying that (I don't know WHAT else he claimed was happening) "while KERRY was running around the jungles of Vietnam."


AND, he has said that he don't want to know no HISTORY, that ALL that matters is today, Shrub, and the CURRENT conflict, which he defines as the war on terra. Like there has never been an a-hole like Shrub before in all history and there have never been phoney wars before.


But NAVARRETTE is not alone. He *wants* to be ignorant of history and lots of other things.



Anyway, this comes up because Senator OBAMA is quoted as saying the Boomers need to get over ourselves. I don't have a link.


Shrub, at least two years ago, was touting a plan to divide us Dems by generations and by economic resources.


I eschew speaking bad of other Dems, but did Senator O. really say this and therefore fall into this pattern?
