Too funny, We went out to dinner with another couple we've become friends with
recently. They are among the few staunch dems in this area. However, the husband works at one of the local eateries and has a chance to work around some of the political events. Recently, Obama and Hillary have been here, both drawing crowds in the hundreds. Well attend gatherings for a rural county. Well, anyway, our friend told us that the place he works for had been reserved for a gathering for Romney a week ago. They set up for a crowd and only 15 people showed up. He was grinning from ear to ear all the while he was reporting this.

1. That's hilarious.
Can you imagine?

There you are, lining up events for a supposedly "major" candidate.

But you know that your event is tanking (in a popular venue such as the one you mention) and you have to soldier on anyway.

And 15 people show up.

showing workmen REMOVING empty chairs from a
Cheney event..the caption even said that were being removed because the turn-out was significantly less rthan what was expected :) and the same photographer took pictures of the event from way back...showing all the empty chairs in between him and the front rows where the few who showed up, were seated..

11. And after all the money Mittens has spent!
Out of his own pocket, too. I'm guessing someone wasn't working the same job the day after that "event."
