How come
the liberals are flipping out over Obama caving on GLBT rights, and accuse Clinton critics of sexism, yet do not care about the way immigrants are being treated and rarely challenge all sorts of racist assumptions and comments?

Is this a class thing?

Immigrants and minorities are perceived, accurately for the most part, as poor. Are feminsim and GLBT rights really about equal rights only for a few upscale people within a certain perceived upscale segment of the population, rather than being about broader human rights principles?

Have 800,000 people been rounded up for being gay?

For being women?

What about the gay people and the women in the immigrant community who are being abused?

I ask these questions as a queer. What do you say?
