A parade of lousy music
Hey, Macy's, fix the parade, OK. I've had enough. Not to mention Matt Liar and Hanna StormTrooper.

1. Oi! That's "Hanna Montana" to you. Or is it "Hanna Barbera"?
Meh. What's the difference; they're all cartoons...

2. What Parade! Commercials and talking heads
At one time they would show the balloons and floats, I put it on and saw only Matrt and Hanna. I too turned it off.

and little else, which means I stopped watching years and years ago. Too many "performances and TV show 'star' appearances", not enough "parade". I can remember a time when it was much more the latter than the former.

Who is this "Hannah Montana" you speak of? J/K - I have heard the name (for the first time this year) but still don't know, or care, who or what she is. It gets simple when you have no children, and therefore no grandchildren; you do NOT have to pay attention to such things.

a Disney Channel show "Hannah Montana" and she also does touring concerts as "Hannah Montana" which sell out in minutes. Miley is a superstar of the teen set and she's 15 years old now.

8. I don't mind the Broadway promos
when they are actually good. This year's stink even more than usual. The Broadway musical as an art form is pretty much defunct, I think. They might as well start treating it like opera and just doing revivals - and I *don't* mean movies made into musicals.

4. I quit watching that thing decades ago. Unless you're there in person,
parades lose all of their entertainment value. No one goes to hear inane talk from some clowns being paid to give a 'blow by blow' synopsis of the festivites. But that's what you're stuck with if you watch it on t.v.

Plus, a fifty foot balloon doesn't look as impressive on t.v.
