So I feel like a sap.

I had trusted him and thought he could back his claims, but apparently he cannot.

Until he can, don't buy the claim that Camp Obama did oppo research on a progressive blogger or bloggers.

I apologize for the earlier dubious post on the Obama campaign.

1. Thank you for this
Its always nice to see posters correct themselves if they find out they were wrong(or might be in this case)

And no worries, everybody makes mistakes so no need to feel like a sap.

I too read Open Left and was puzzled by Bowers.
There was also some rather blatent Obama bashing, to my mind unsubstantiated, on MYDD.
I know everyone is all "revved-up" because Iowa is a few weeks away.
I think some of these bloggers who "CLAIM" not to have a horse in the race, are being disingenuous at the least. Everyone at the point is leaning or has made a def. decision.
We as progressives should relish in the fact we can have an open lively and yes raucous debate about out Democratic candidates. But posts like the one Bowers wrote, and the posts by Jerome are in my mind suspect, because they claim that they are not endorsing yet if you read between the lines, their agenda is in full view.Never-mind that in their haste to get a "gotch-ya" moment on a candidate, they don't fully vet their claims and it comes back to bite-em on da butt!
