Any of Our candidates can beat any on the Reich
From August to November it will become evident. When a Democratic nominee goes one-on-one against one of the dried up bigots, the Democrat will shine.

All the reich has is fear mongering and America is over that. We are sick of being goaded into fear. Fear or terrorist, fear of immigrants and fear of *gasp* liberals.

What average Americans are afraid of is a diving economy, working harder for less. What We are afraid of is getting sick and going into debt or dying because of it. What We are afraid of is losing more of our brave young soldiers in Occupation of an oil country. What We are afraid of is the affect Our habits have on our air, water and seasons. What we are afraid of is a shift in our government away from human and civil rights.

The reich does not and will not address Our true concerns. And America knows it. We've caught on and awakened.

When we consider Our nominee, forget what the reich claims about them. High negatives, inexperienced, un-authentic, unelectable. They are running scared. In November they will be running scared. In January, A Democrat will be in the White House, with a stronger Majority in Congress.

1. Hillary is the only one that would be vulnerable.
She has the potential to bring them out in droves...

2. I agree she is the most vulnerable.
The Independents don't hate her like the reich. Even she would win, IMO.

But, let's try with someone else. We can seize the opportunity to elect a more Progressive Candidate.

9. They hated bill for 8+ years, and love to hate the Clintons.

7. She's not vulnerable because the Reich hates her, though.
IMHO, her vulnerability comes from a distinct lack of enthusiasm for her candidacy that I've sensed, now, for months among fellow Democrats.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard "Yeah, I'll vote for her if she's the nominee."

Thing is, it will be Reich Wing hatred--the usual sexist / anti-Clinton paranoia we expect--that'd probably change it. Most of us will feel compelled to defend her when that happens.

3. The media will bend over backwards to make it a horserace
Any Democratic misquote will be magnified and amplified 100-fold.

Multiple blatant lies by the Republic nominee will be the equivalent of any one Dem misquote.

4. We also do not want innocent people killed by our guns.
We not only want a Democrat, but one who will end the occupation of Iraq.

6. Could some October surprise (911-2?) change this
do you think, i.e. our leaders must out-Nazi the Islamo-fascists in order that "Peace, Justice, and the American way" survive?

10. I sincerely hope (a) nothing happens, else (b) you are right, or
(c) any such plot is immediately exposed.

11. Lets Hope So.
But if I remember correctly that was a popular sentiment in 2000 and again in 2004. We had better keep busting ass to get people elected, or we may be eating these words in 2008.
