This really bugs me!
If and when the dems take back the whitehouse, given the secretive and vile nature of the current occupants, do you think they would have the audacity to try and bug the whitehouse? Now, I know there are devices that detect transmissions and can locate a bug, as we know them. But, don't you think by now the CIA has bugs that are undetectable by conventional means?

We already know they want their nose in every conversation in the U.S, what makes you think they would not attempt to gain an advantage by bugging the whitehouse by whatever means?

And, do you think it is possible that they could get all the slime out of the Oval Office as long as Bush has been there?

2. all bugs can be detected, jammed and/or destroyed through various means
and since Nixon, the whitehouse has been a 'clean room'. There are recorders for the sake of dictation, but the various offices themselves are cleaned and swept regularly.

7. I would personally carry a jammer in my pocket at all times
http://www.pimall.com/nais/e.counter-c.html

THE AUDIO JAMMER
High-Tech Cutting Edge Countermeasures And Privacy Gear

Keep your private conversations private! The AJ-34 AUDIO JAMMER protects your sensitive room conversations by generating a random masking sound which desensitizes any near-by microphone. Effective against any microphone based eavesdropping device including tape recorders, RF transmitters, hard-wired microphones (including contact type) and shotgun microphones. It also protects against microwave or laser reflection pickups.

Because the sound from the jammer varies randomly in frequency and amplitude, it cannot be easily filtered and the only sound the eavesdropper will hear is the jammer noise.
The convenient end-mounted control lets you select the level of protection for your situation. One unit will protect up to 150 sq. ft. For protecting rooms larger than this, we recommend and additional jammer for each 150 sq. ft. of area.

The illustrated instructions show suggested jammer placement for different types of rooms and situations so that you can use the AJ-34 effectively. The AJ-34 is powered by one 9 volt alkaline battery (included). The unit measures 4" x 2.5" x 1.5" and weighs 7 oz.

5. The Next President Should Move The Capital City
The next president should just move the capital city.

Bush and his gang have done too much to stink and slime the White House and his appointees have done far too much to slime all the Federal office buildings in DC.

The next president should move the Capital City to someplace in Nebraska or Kansas.

At least then, the people living in the capital city would be able to vote!
