Bush? Or Gore? Who do you want to represent you in Bali?
Oh yeah, Bush ain't goin'.
Gore is.

Dear MoveOn member,

President Bush won't be joining the world leaders gathered in Bali this
week for the most important UN climate conference ever. But Al Gore will.
And he's sent a personal note to MoveOn members (see below), asking for
our help.

Yesterday, Vice President Al Gore accepted the Nobel Peace Prize for his
unflinching, heroic efforts to tackle global warming.

Now he's heading straight to the Bali conference to call for a visionary
global treaty to stop climate change. He's asking millions of Americans to
join him. With the world watching, he'll bring our signatures onto the
stage to show the world where Americans stand on climate change.

Can you sign this petition to show that Bush doesn't represent us on
climate change--and Al Gore does? Click here to add your name:

One damn mouse click is all it takes folks.
Can you spare the time and energy that takes?
Thank you.

5. It was pretty much a rhetorical question. With an obvious answer.
I don't get your drift.

3. Wow -- I'm seeing the abolishment of the "nation state" in a positive way
Edited on Tue Dec-11-07 06:55 PM by LSparkle
Everyone keeps talking about how globalization (and multinational corporations' greed) is bringing about an end to the "nation state" and I've flinched at the concept. However, perhaps there IS an upside to that -- people of the world uniting across boundaries behind particular causes, as opposed to being bound by their nationalities and "branded" based simply on where they live.

AL GORE IS MY PRESIDENT -- and he ALWAYS HAS BEEN!
