2. 70% of Republicans approve of Bush. They have to embrace him right now.
In the General I think you'll see the nom trying to distance himself.

5. Despite the giant Wurlitzer ...
Bush is at 26-29%. That means the rest have a functioning brain.

If we don't have faith in the people, we don't have faith in democracy.

6. My inlaws here in Texas just LOVE Bush.
They think he's the greatest president since Reagan. They think the war in Iraq has been a great success. They think Saddam hid the weapons of mass destruction in Syria somewhere. They think torture is just fine as long as it's not them being tortured. They think the world was created six thousand years age, never mind what science or reason says. The national debt doesn't exist. And they all plan to go out and vote for Huckabee all the way. Unfortunately, too many people here feel just the same way.

9. There's a bunch of people here in VA just like that, too. So completely
insulated from reason and experience that they seem to live in an unburstable bubble. I have very little compassion for most Virginians for this reason.

8. Even as the country sinks into the depths of a depression,
they believe. Even as they bury their own children, they believe. They are the deceived, the arrogant, the racist, and the merciless. Weakened by greed and bigotry, their souls have been captured and perverted by evil. In the future Bush will be remembered as the decider, not for his decisions or leadership, but because those that believed in him will be condemned to hell; while those that stood against him will enter the gates of Heaven and the meek shall inherit the earth.

11. None of them are able to admit their own mistakes just like *
The same % in the colonies wanted to remain loyal to the Crown. They are not patriots to the constitution.
