1. The church offers consolation and community

but the CHURCH is not the building, it is the people who worship together. And $60 million on upgraded or new low cost housing, upgraded schools or early education projects or as seed money for a health clinic would do a hell of a lot more toward building a church than erecting a cathedral will.
