We all know what they are against, but what exactly are republicans "for".
A cursory recollection tells me that they are in favor of:

Private schools ONLY..(they want to dump the department of education)

They want tax-free living

They want regulation-free commerce

They want every zygote to be born (at no expense to them, of course)

They want a white, english-speaking populace

They want people to fund their own retirements

They want the war to continue forever and ever, and to spill into any country that does not "see things our way"

They want a president to be able to torture at will and to be able to do whatever he wants to do..and they want NO criticism of said president.

They want to pay as little as possible to the people they hire.

They want women to wear nice red dresses, be respectful of men and of course they do like that "big hair"..the blonder the better.. and lip gloss..lots of it..

They just want everyone to do things their way..all the time..

5. they also want to be able to spew hatred
of anyone who disagrees with them, even in times of sorrow. Cleveland Plain Dealer comments on the death of Perry Kucinich point this out vividly.

6. I don't think the GOP could exist without being "against".

That's what they do. They're a sort of sad part of the populace that doesn't feel truly alive unless they are against someone or something. If you think of all their "victories", they always turn out to be projects that were against other people, not really anything creative in the sense of adding to or enriching this country.

Even when they "support the troops", they're only enabling death and destruction. And, isn't that their biggest claim? To support our troops being killed and maimed?

7. Unaccountability.
They are for constrictive evolution: selfishness, greed, isolation, us vs them, my pack, my family, my interests, my convenience, nothing for you if you disagree with me.

As opposed to expansive evolution: selflessness, community, inclusion, us with them, everyone.

Some folks would risk their necks to save yours. Others would risk your neck to save their own.

8. They want a forced Christian theocracy
total eradication of the islamic faith

dominion over all oil sources

a massive electronic fence around the country

every petty criminal executed, especially minorities

a machine gun in every home (I would want this though if all the other items were achieved)

10. I'm confused.
Do you want to know what they say they're for?

Or do you want to know what their actions show they're for?

The two are not the same, by the way... :eyes:

REPUBLICANS
are hypocrites
