Both are very easy to use. PowerDirector is probably a little simpler to learn than Studio but both have a similar interface and I think Studio's effects are nicer (not that you would necessarily want to use all those effects unless you're going for the 1980s cheezy music video look). Either way, both products will easily do what you want.
