So...It's The Housing Crisis, An Aging Population, Weak Sales, Entitlements...Everything But
The war. Money is being poured out of this country into Iraq, billions a week. But does the big expert testifying on cap hill site this as a cause? Week after week, year after year. What did they think was going to happen? So...they're still distracting the eye. What phony baloney.

1. yeah, the fact that we're now seen as barbarians the world over has nothing to do with it...
:sarcasm:

Until people start realizing that the so-called 'war on terror' and our sudden penchant for 'nation building' and 'liberation' is what is causing much of the trouble, we will remain in a world of sh*t, IMO.

4. I agree.
I think this has been the plan all along. No money=no government programs.

5. Everything but the war and massive tax cuts.
The narrative this morning on General Electric Media is that it's becoming obvious that we'll have to have Social Security reform. Of course it is! THAT'S the problem! A program that has been on the books for decades and a problem that has been foreseen for decades but the government hasn't properly managed, THAT'S the problem! Obviously the only way to fix it is to take away all that money people have had taken from their paychecks over their lifetimes and give it to Bush's Base, the wealthiest 1%. It really the only solution.

Do I really need this? --> :sarcasm:

7. Everything Except Bush and His Failed Policies
Like most bullies, Bush tries to deflect any criticism of himself.

So he refuses to admit that HE is the source of all (or most) of the current problems.

9. Yep, Yep, Yep
You and the others upthread are dead on. I completely forgot to mention the tax cuts. I wonder if they haven't outsmarted themselves this time. The market is tanking. Pension funds etc. will suffer, but they may too. And the European markets aren't doing so well either, so I hope that bites Cheney right in his bank account.
