Why aren’t DEMs speaking out about “Imploding Economy?”

I heard Hilary question Bush’s sanity during 1 of her town hall meetings regarding borrowing money from China to pay for Saudi oil so he can wage war in Iraq, but that is all I have heard.

Now I see the Dems ready to jump on the “Economic Stimulus” band wagon and apply yet another meaningless economic band aid to the seriously hemorrhaging American Economy.

America has been on Bush’s “RE-Fi” economy for 6 long years, and now the credit and banking institutions are crumbling under the weight. The Bush administration has pressured the Fed-reserve to keep interest rates at 40 year lows fueling inflated housing prices. All the while ushering in a “Mass-Exodus” of American manufacturing jobs.

Plain and Simple –

We don’t manufacture or export enough goods and or services to pay off the interest on the National Debt

- And the Bill has come due.

Why are not the DEMs screaming as loud as they can “Look You stupid republicans at what you have done”

And NO I don’t support any more Band Aid economic stimulus packages that merely postpone the inevitable. We need to rethink and reinvent American economic growth.

but a 4th grader can understand we don't manufacture nothing (as in Nada, Zip) in order to sell so we can pay off the tremendous debt we have accumulated.

I remember listening to Ed Shultz talk about how we can teach children to manage debt. How in the hell can you do that when the example the American government leads us with failed the course

8. I Thought About That Too And Surmised That They Wanted To Save Their Criticism Of *Co.....

for the campaign of the General Election (GE). I'm thinking they don't want to play out their hand now and give the Repugs time to come up with excuses.

In the GE they need to hit the Repug candidate hard with how *Co screwed up this country and the world.

Right now the Repug candidates are still not bad mouthing *Co to any great extent. In my opinion - that is wrong - and the Repug candidate that would take on *Co now would probably win the nomination. But they've taken a kid gloves approach and therefore many Repugs that realize what *Co has done to this country are shying away from their candidates - knowing that if elected they would be in for more of the same.

Now if a Repug candidate moves from the pack and takes on *Co - perhaps those Repug voters would just support them.

When a Repug candidate finally does win the nomination - if they were wishy-washy about *Co in the primaries - they should get hit with both barrels from the Dem nominee - about the ineptness and damage *Co has done.

A Repug nominee that took on *Co in the primaries will have a better chance defending themselves then.

Current polling shows the economy has moved to the forefront as the #1 issue among voters. Hard to imagine Dem candidates would not pick up the ball and run with it.

Obama and Edwards rant about change - changing the system. Voters want to feed their families and want a change that helps them do that
