Bush administration renounces Reaganesque "Supply side economics"
OK, they didn't renounce anything...they never, ever admit they were wrong.
It sure is interesting that, when the economy needs stimulus, they come up with a too-little-too-late scheme to give the 'little people' a few hundred dollars.
If they truly believed their own rhetoric, there would have been another tax cut for the overpriviliged...you know, because the funds would trickle down to the little people.
This is another cheap repuke tactic to throw the little people a token bone so they can vociferously pat themselves on the back.
The last time they did this, it was poppys plan and few recognized it as an advance deducted against a future tax refund.
To me, it looks a lot like J.D. Rockefeller throwing a handfull of dimes to the filthy working class kids.
NEWS FLASH-The consumer fuels the economy and bushco has squeezed the life out of the middle class.
We can only hope that Halliburton will operate a few token soup kitchens in the coming months.
