Rudy: I Might Not Even Have To Win Florida
Just how panicked is Rudy Giuliani starting to look? After initially trying to play in various other states and then pulling out in order to bet it all on Florida, he's now downplaying the need to win a primary even in Florida.

In an interview on Fox News today, Rudy was asked by Neil Cavuto if he needed to win in the Sunshine State. "I don't think any candidate ever puts himself in a corner and says, must win, have to win, must win," Rudy said.

rudy911 must think he doesn't need to win at all. His days are surely numbered.

1. Rudy: I might have to come up with another disease so I don't have to say I quit.

2. Okay I actually laughed at that subject line
See Rudy at the Convention telling a few straggling reporters "You SEE I may not even need to win the nomination...."

Too early to say and we'll have to wait until the votes are counted, but at the moment the Giuliani campaign doesn't sound terribly certain about its prospects in Florida.

5. He isn't even in a position to STEAL it.
It's gonna be McCain who gets the nom, I think. McCain paid his dues with that Sweaty Hug a few years back.

12. The boneheadedness of Rudy's "strategy" still amazes me
What could possibly have made him think he could just blow off all the other early primary states and win? Probably the same sort of astute mind that led him to put New York's Terrorism Response Center inside one of the WTC buildings. Seriously, at least Droops Thompson gave it the old nursing home try! Rudy knocked himself out of the race. That's just emBARRassing.

Der Rudyfuhrer has lost 5 out of 6 primaries to Fred Thompson, who was campaigning in his spare time between naps.

16. Uh oh. Deja vu all over again. Wasn't the Dimson a little cocky
during his campaign; like "I got it sewed up" cocky.
