2. THEY STOPPED HIM - I am not surprised. He had said
he would discuss the 935 ways in which false statements by the administration had led us into war, there was a large 935 on the screen, and he said he would be discussing it with 3 guests. He went to commercial, and I stepped to my PC to type the notice about it.

When I came back commercial was over, he introduced the 3 men, and they bantered, killing time, about inconsequential election sideline issues.
He was obviously stopped by his superiors.

I am going to write to CNN and tell them I saw it and don't like it.
For whatever that is worth.

DAMN !!!!!

3. Here's what I sent to CNN - I know it's old hat now - but still it did happen
I saw Lou Dobbs announce he was about to discuss the 935 different misrepresentations (i.e. lies) with which we were duped to go to war in Iraq and discuss it with 3 guests.

There was a large number 935 on the screen.

When he came back, and introduced his 3 guests, all they did was banter back and forth, killing time, about hackneyed old issues from the last few days on the march towards a nominee in the democratic party.
We are not idiots out here. We saw what Lou was going to talk about, and we wonder who stopped him.

Of course Olberman and Abrams covered it extensively. Which gives us one more reason to chose their network over CNN.

Get real, it's in your best interest !

4. Of course the CNN bosses would want to head off
a discussion of the enormous numbers of Bush lies, because the next logical question that would come to mind in the audience will be, "What the hell was the media doing when all these lies were being spouted by the shrub? Isn't it the role of the media in a democracy to hold the government accountable and to critically examine what our politicians are telling us? Hmm, I seem to remember that in the runup to war all we got from CNN and the rest of the mainstream media was a bunch of pro-war cheer leading and mostly uncritical regurgitation of Bush administration talking points (i.e. lies). So why the !@#*!! weren't you doing your job CNN, instead of just acting as a propaganda mouthpiece for Bush's lies and helping to start a war that is costing us as taxpayers billions and causing untold grief and suffering?
