The sad fact is that Bush pulled a Humpty Dumpty on America...
With his sidekick, Karl Rove, they divided this country to such an extent that it may take a generation to put all the pieces back together again. This is his legacy. And it is a sorry one. From the moment he stole his way into the White House, even after losing the popular vote by over 500,000 votes, he pretended he had won by a landslide. At the time that the country needed to be put together, he tore it asunder. That is his legacy.

As he gets ready to leave the disaster zone, he looks back over his shoulder and tells everyone that they need to stop spending. This after he has spent us into oblivion. Furthermore, he wants everyone to keep his ill-advised and criminal war going, even as 5 more US troops died in Mosul today. Like Humpty Dumpty, he has broken our country into a thousand pieces and now he pretends that all the shattered parts makes it easier for the rest of us to pick them up. That is his legacy.
