Worst SOTU ever?
That has to be the worst SOTU speech I've ever heard (and I always make a point to watch).

Between the faux emphasis on certain points where he raised his voice to try to get you to listen,
to the inappropriate smirking (he smirked when he said something about genocide in Darfur),
to the random winks and frat boy smiles,
to the praising of ideals (such as democracy and the rule of law) that he routinely spits on,
to the half-hearted proposals that will go nowhere,
and the halting manner of speech,

it was a fitting end to a disastrous presidency which I hope our nation can recover from. This was a terrible speech, even for W. Never in my life have I seen such a collection of distortions, half-truths, and vacuous proposals.

It was the worst State of the Union speech ever.

3. like well trained dogs following commands
pathetic, wasn't it? I lasted about 1/2 of the talk. then I read the transcript, and refused to compare his reading abilities with mine. Actually got 8 hours of sleep. Much better use of my time.

18. No kidding!
I could never be in Congress, because at the first "lecture" he threw my way, I would have stood up, dropped my drawers, mooned him, and walked out.

If any a speech needed a mass "Hey! Kiss my A$$!!" - this was the one!

5. Well, I hear there was the time . . .
. . . William Howard Taft simply took a dump on the podium after a large burrito. Then said, "Yep, that about sums it up," and left.

I'm told the press office simply made up a new transcript.

They covered it all up, of course. (The event, and the dump itself.)

20. Just attempting a little humor.
Trying to see if I could come up with a SOTU address that would be even worse than last night's. Given my juvenile mindset, it was the first thing that came to mind, and I needed only to name the hands-down fattest President to complete the image.

It means everything a poster has to say is in the title. So don't bother opening the post, because there is nothing else.

You'll also see "eom", which means end of message. Same basic idea.

I will be as far away from D.C. as possible.

17. Dunno if it was the worst ever, but it was pretty awful.
I'd say it was up there with Chimpy's previous SOTU addresses - dismal.

19. Oh it was
Bad. It was painful. It was a load O crap...The frat boy stuff pretty much sums up his legacy.
One big drunken party where lil George and his best-est pals smack each other on the backs, tell
"dirty" jokes about their women and then proceed to rule the world!

Or something close to that.
