Al Gore on the Oscars, for those who missed it . . .

After Melissa sang "I Need To Wake Up," Al Gore came out with Leo DiCaprio.

Leo: So with so many people here, is there anything you wanna ANNOUNCE?

Al: . . . . I'm just here to support the movie industry and the movement for global climate awareness. And to thank YOU, Leo, for being a great ally in this movement.

Then they both go into how the Oscar ceremony has, for the first time, gone green -- meaning every aspect of the show's production was done with environmental-aware methods. Big applause.

Leo: So we're almost out of time, but Mr. Gore, are you sure there isn't any MAJOR MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT you want to make?

Al: Well . . . I really wasn't gonna do this, but I guess with a billion people watching *pulls out a paper* I guess I'll take this opportunity to formally announce that I am--


**music plays, Al and Leo are forced to walk off**
