Who do you love more: God or Gore?
God created the world...but Gore is the one saving it.
Gore won the election...but God supported Bush(according to Bush).

It's a tough one. However, I think with some careful reflection and meditation, we can push Gore into deity status by 2008.

4. Fair enough. But do you have any proof that Gore ever existed?
We have a war in Iraq, we've cut back on EPA measures, and Tennessee is a Red state. It's as if he was never hear at all. No carbon foot print, no political one. I believe that gore is a legend. He may have existed at one point, but the tails of his greatness and miracles(winning elections, saving planets) are greatly exaggerated by his followers.

17. Please present it.
I argue that there is no Proof of Gore's exsistence other then digitally altered photos, quotes attributed to him, and the continued, fevrent support of his followers who claim to "see" him at various events.

24. Well, there's his birth certificate.
You can go to TN to fetch it if you want. There's his biography and voting record in the Congressional records. There's film and witnesses of him being sworn in as VP. There's film and witnesses of him presiding over the counting of electoral ballots in the Senate. Many, many people have seen them, talked to him and touched him. I saw him on live TV last night.

I know the point you are making, but it is not supported by the facts. There is no evidence of anything divine in any real sense in the universe. Further, had the universe been divinely created and maintained as theists maintain, it would be a far different universe than it is. The only god that could possibly exist is one that is so irrelevant and pointless that he/she/it/they does not amount to a god in any meaningful way.

28. My point is that people are elevating Gore in an almost comical manner.
It has nothing to do with God, the existence of God, or any of that. It's the fact that people are treating Gore like a God. People don't see a socially awkward man who oddly resembled a chunky hook nosed penguin last night-they see a messiah. I like Gore, but after last night, I know he doesn't have a chance to grab he whitehouse.

Gore made a documentary about global warming that summarizes and showcases facts that any competent person was already aware of. Great. It's an interesting cause, but I don't see any solution to the problem as described by Gore.

15. Got a question ...
How many votes did God get in 2000?

I don't remember his name on the ballot in 2000 ...

Last I checked, the only time God was on TV was on South Park ...

;)

5. I read it in the bible. And on a billboard. And a bathroom wall.
And all of those things start with the letter B. You can't spell believe without B. The fact that there are three B's indicate the presence of the holy trinity. It's all right there. Open up your eyes and believe.

10. first gore is superman, now he is better than god... this is all looking
a lot foolish right now with gore.

he is a man. only a man. not a perfect man. there are things that are not wonderful about the man. there are good things about the man. he won 2000. he would be a good pres. but then comparatively speaking, any dem would be a good pres after the last 7 yrs.... just a man. not superman. not beyond god

20. Not beyond God. Equal to God. A god himself.
The only way to determine if he is beyond God would be in some sort of arm wrestling macth or chariot race.

11. I'm not a God person but if I where
I would resent the question. My guess is the response would be, God created Gore so ya gotta love her. If on the other hand there were a god it would not be a kind and loving one. Who, with the power to stop all of this violence on earth would permit it to continue? Save the children, Kim

23. No. Only Gore can save the world. Why would Leo lie?
I've read it here all morning. Gore is the one true way. the chose one. The man who will save us from the darkness. And the warmness. And the globalness. He is the inspiration. The alpha. the omega. Through him all things are possible. Although he was struck down in 2000, he shall rise again, to represent both the blue and the red, whose kingdom shall have no end.

31. He actually won in 2000.
The Supreme Court is to blame for the *ush debacle. People are eager to find a solution to our world problems. That is why they are so excited. It will be hard for one person to save us. It is going to require a group of dedicated people worldwide to carry this off.

33. Yeah, Gore lost. IF he had won, he would have been President.
He got more popular votes, true.
There were some serious voting irregularities in Florida, true.
The Supreme Court stopped the proposed vote counting that Gore wanted, true.

However, despite the fact that he should have won, and almost won, Gore did not win shit. He lost. To Bush. And that sucked, still sucks, and will continue to suck for ever. But let's not kid ourselves and pretend that he won, or even ran a good campaign. TO lose to Bush is to lose to yourself.

I like Gore more now then I did then. How couldn't I or anyone else? But he blew it in 2000(it shouldn't have been that close, he sacrificed the South by not letting Clinton campaign for him and distancing himself)he was wooden. He didn't inspire people, and he's not inspiring people now. People care about global warming because we live on the fucking globe, not because a former moderate dem who becomes a committed dem made a movie about it. He also wrote a book about it. Big deal. Gore treats global warming the same way Republicans treat terrorism. WIth him or you're against him. There's only one way...the world is in the balance....we have to act....blah blah blah. Some of his science is junk, some of it is nothing more then scare tactics, and a lot of contrary facts are omitted. Most of it is sound, but he's not ready to have an honest discussion about the issues. He wants you to jump on his eco friendly band wagon and never look back.

It gets old. He's a politician, and a tool. Like ninety nine percent of all politicians. He didn't have the courage to do what was right in 2000, and he shouldn't be revered now.
