2. Re reading DU . . .

I've wondered that too about phrases that seem to be echoed in media sometimes (the recent one's I'm thinking about had to do with Hillary Clinton). It's probably just the blogosphere in general, but sometimes the similarity makes you wonder whether there is a more specific source.

I'm still working on my letter to my senator about a binding resolution to restrict funding for this war.

I have Sy Hersh's new article and I expect it will be the basis for letters about impeaching Cheney.

One of the things I want to say is that the "Redirection" actually emboldens the Sunni insurgency by undercutting the Iraqi Shia. I'm having a little trouble with that particular logical connection since the Redirection was, in Fact, aimed at the Iranian Shia (so the counter will be "Cheney HAD to do it this way to protect the Iraqis from un-due influence from across the border"). Any suggestions?

Also, I know we have to write to Nancy P., but is there any particular member of Congress closer to introducing articles of impeachment than the others that we can give as support to Pelosi? I know Bernie Sanders in the Senate, but what about the House?
