How About a Limo Tour of Foreclosed Homes?

AUBURN, CA (AP) -- Investors and other prospective buyers looking to pick up a bank-owned home now can scan foreclosed properties in style.

A real estate company in Auburn, the Gold Rush-era town east of Sacramento, is arranging limousine tours of foreclosed homes in Placer and Sacramento counties. A real estate company in Sutter and Yuba counties has a similar offer.

Up to 18 potential buyers can ride in the 40-foot Lincoln Navigator limousine being used by the Auburn real estate company, the Gold Rush Group.

Agent Sidne Allinger said the idea is to offer investors and first-time buyers a fun time as they tour neighborhoods hit hard by the foreclosure wave in central California.
