Rush Limpballs Was Withdrawing $9900 At a Time to Buy Drugs
(Voice Over) But authorities say they became aware two years ago, in an investigation of a New York bank, US Trust, that Limbaugh had taken between 30 and 40 cash withdrawals from his account, in amounts just under $10,000. $10,000 is the amount which requires the bank to file a report to the government. Limbaugh's lawyers confirm that as part of US Trust service, a bank employee personally delivered the cash to Limbaugh at his New York studio in amounts of about $9,900.

BRIAN ROSS
(Voice Over) Limbaugh's lawyers say it was US Trust which suggested the arrangement. And in July of 2001, the bank paid a $10 million fine because of the Limbaugh transactions and many others like it. Limbaugh's name was not made public at the time. But officials tell ABC News, details were sent to investigators in Florida, who have been tracking the money.

Spitzer needs to not step down, not just yet.

3. He's also claiming he would NEVER visit a prostitue.
I LOL when he said that. I guess if he's going to lie, might as well make it a whopper.

At a $9900 a pop oxy habit he may be telling the truth for ONCE.

5. Bushies don't commit crimes. Bushies don't get investigated.
End of story. When I say Imperial Amerika is now like Nazi Germany, I mean it this way:

One person might drive a thousand miles in a straight line. Another person might drive 250 miles in a curved route that only takes it 1/8th the distance of the first person in twice the time.

But BOTH are driving.

THAT is the analogy to Nazi Germany and Bush-Occupied Imperial Amerika. Both nations are on the same path and now, fundamentally the same nation. Nazi Germany "drove" further and faster.

End of story.

8. Is he that addicted? Or just a bad shopper?
I haven't done drugs in decades, but I did buy a couple of bags of marijuana decades ago. I sure didn't pay any $9900 for them. Either Rush is really, REALLY addicted to pills, or he doesn't shop around for the best deals. Maybe he should find another maid to buy his bills; a woman struggling to make ends meet, who works a bottom-feeding job like taking care of Mr. Oxycontin, would probably know how to haggle for a better price.

I also worked in the Trust area of a major bank. NEVER heard of it.

11. When you look at the Spitzer investigation it is really scary
I am not saying any of what he did is good but how they got him is not good at all. They were not investigating him for anything, the bank just noticed he took out of his account sums in the range of something like 2400 like 7 times. That really isn't that much money for someone that wealthy. They (THE BANK), contacted the Feds and alerted them to this "suspicious" behavior. Now banks usually don't report anything to the Feds. They do log to the Federal Gov't any time transactions are made over 10k. The reason Limbaugh was doing 9900. However, this bank didn't just log, they alerted on 2400 increments. Now they watch politicians close and they thought this might be some kind of illegal payments to Spitzer but found the prostitution stuff.

I am not trying to say he should get away with what he did, but it is pretty scary that banks just get to "alert" the Feds on who ever they want, without a warrant. That is BULLSHIT if you ask me. Now if they want laws in place to keep better accounting of politicians money fine, but doing this shit on their own discretion is BULLSHIT.
