Question about teevee show "Jericho" - I've never watched it but some DUer said the other day
it was a cool show and so I decided to have a look...at the beginning there's a morse-code message that says
"tho it is dark"

Does that have some significance?

1. You might want to post this in the Lounge.

2. I would suggest everyone watch the show from the beginning
It's a fantastic show...it's the underlying message that opens your eyes.

Seriously it's my favorite show.

8. I'm on episode 7.
I wasn't sure at first. Seemed a little bit 24ish with the fear card and all.

I've really begun to enjoy it, although I find the acting more than a little amateurish.

12. I think it gets better. . .
there are so many characters and sub-story lines that I still wonder how they tie things together, but you gradually start getting some answers.

4. yes, definitely a lounge question...
the code changes each ep, always appropriate to something happening.

but everything is going to be ok because "ravenswood" is on the scene...

:sarcasm:

6. Yeah, I guess the lounge would be better. But I switched it off anyway,
this kind of program isn't really my cup of tea...
thanks anyway though!

7. I tried once
and tuned in about 5 minutes late. All I saw was a bunch of males yelling at each other with nobody listening and switched over to one of the science channels.

Gotta be a guy thing.

9. and that's too bad because...
its a story about a nation that has experienced a great crisis, a nuclear crisis with bombs an all. and how the citizens, relying on their government to restore things, get caught up in a world where private contractors (from a company called "ravenswood") are the administrators of that restoration.

the military is ordered off to chase the "bad guys", that it turns out is ravenswood itself (but they don't know that.) because they are following orders of the government that actually is controlled by ravenswood.

sound familiar?

i watch this not like a television show, but a documentary. my jaw slack... shaking my head. my god, someone is actually showing unashamedly exactly how this plays out.

and no one watches. because guys are yelling.

you should watch. and encourage others to watch. this is so real its scary...

And yes, you should watch it from the beginning. I believe the episodes are still posted at cbs.com. . .if you have good download capability, you can watch them on your computer..:-). Otherwise, the first season is on DVD and you can probably rent it. . .
