Maybe it's the polluted water in the Hudson River?
Think about it - GE dumped all sorts of things into the Hudson. We're down winders from whatever crap gets tossed into the air across the rest of the US. The AP ran a story this week about all the trace pharmaceuticals in drinking water. Our streams and lakes are so polluted it's not safe to eat fish taken from any freshwater source in the state. One of our former governors is remembered today mainly for dying in the saddle...

1. about all the pharmaceuticals in the waters of America...
i'm pretty sure there hasn't been any viagra filtering into MY local water...

but i have been having long periods of calmness and regular sleep, lately...

the nauseousness, itching and burning, and brief fainting spells are new, though...

2. On a serious note - someone should check Spitzer into a hospital for a thorough
work-up. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out he is bi-polar!

5. Ahh, the Egg, and "Rockefeller's Final Erections!"
Yeah, I remember those blocks and blocks of brownstones. Reminded me of Park Slope in Brooklyn. Though the neighborhood in Albany was more middle class than Park Slope, it still was a nice, working class neighborhood.

6. OMG! They were Beautful! Before I made home choices I looked forever in Park Slope and Brooklyn
Heights on blocks that looked like this. The longer I looked, the higher the prices became and I wound up moving to Westchester County.

7. I happened to visit the French Quarter in New Orleans a few weeks
before visiting my daughter's apartment in Albany. Albany is a well kept secret, let me tell you!

9. I'm a little over two hours south of Albany and have only visited it twice.
I sold at the riverfront festival there and went to a concert there another time. I saw very little of it. This photo is making me go hmmmmmmmmm.

10. Admittedly, my daughter's apartment house has lots of character.
Yeah, "character", that's the ticket!

8. I was wondering why every time I take a drink of water,
my headache goes away, my complexion clears, and I get a boner*.
