My Friend Red called me about this story. Happened on Rooney Street Ft Stockton Tx:
He and his pal Andy was dining on a long table doing their best to finish a heap of beans and roast beef when 2 cowboy type fellas walked in and sat next to them as is the custom of the place when crowded.

Red had seen these 2 boys around.

They were yabbering bout shit for a few minutes when one of them turned to Red and said:

"Howdy, Names Chuck....my friend's Harry..."

Red: "Names Red, this here is Andy...can we help you fellas?"

Chuck: "Would appreciate a few minutes...you see, Harry and I are old coots, Republicans to the core...voted Bush twice and dad too. but I now see some things making me testy and a whole wad uneasy....Harry here thinks all is fine and we should stay with Bush...

"But something stinks...whoa....make that...actually alotta shit stinks....what I trying to say is...I not too sure I gonna vote this Fall.

Harry: "Well, I gonna stick to mah guns an vote for John McCain...I like that ole man...he is the straight shooter outta the lot.

Chuck: "You fellas wanna help us decide??"

Red: "Well....we just passing through on our way South to the Border...got a boat to keep the tourists happy fishing. We don't vote since we're escaped convicts from back East...Sorry...

Chuck: "But wait....we don't care where ya going...its about Harry and Me...who should we vote for...if at all??"

Red: " Well, since ya asked...I look at it this way: The Republicans rode with Bush 1 and they chose to ride with W.

Both are losers...canardly speak in complete sentences...is that a hint?

"Come to think of it...The Republicans had a string of losers who could hardly speak properly....Nixon, Ford, Quayle, 2xBushies, Reagan, none of these guys had real brains.....

"Harry, how can you trust the Republicans anymore? They keep burning us with Losers...

Take WBush...he talks like a drunk,

acts like one,

screws up jokes,

rubs bald heads,

calls his friends by nicknames...drunks do that a lot,

now that the country is 10 trillion in the hole,

ya might say,

He spends like a drunk too"

Harry" OK OK...I gatta think....".

Anyhow, I don wanna ramble here...but Red finished by say they all dropped the subject an started talking football..

2 more losing faith in the Pub Ranks...the drips are turning into torrents....
