We in the Detroit area don't want to see any more of it. I am SICK of winter.

3. Good grief....
And baseball season starts next week.....A March 31 game in Detroit. The schedule-makers are very cruel people.

Same here. Cubs vs Brewers.
The Brewers have that nice, new DOMED stadium not that far away so of course we're playing in Wrigley.

5. Looks Like The Worst Missed Us...
They predicted 7-12 inches here...so far maybe 2 inches...Which means you folks in Wisconsin and Michigan got the worst of it. But then, what we have here won't end up going east, it'll melt and go west...down the Mississippi...more water to where they sure don't need it.

7. Not in this part of Michigan, thank goodness....
I'm sure the Lake Effect zones on the west side of the state are getting slammed, tho.

11. western burbs (dupage) and now we're supposed to end up with
1-3 inch accumulation

not bad--considering they were talking about 8 inches of heavy wet snow last night.

i've got the window open.

(airing out a room where there was an open box of irish spring soap! that smell is so strong i could gag! i put it in a baggie and walked it into the garbage outside)

snow is on the ground but spring is in the air!
