"This meeting is over."- John McCain
On Tuesday, McCain's return to his old high school in Alexandria, Virginia, was not welcomed by all.

A student in the crowd asked him, "We're told this isn't a political event, so what exactly is your purpose in being here?"

McCain shot back, "I knew I should have cut this thing off. This meeting is over."

I would like to see a Video of this.

1. I saw that. It was tongue-in-cheek and good humored.
The words on a page aren't accurate without the video. And kudos to the student who stood up and said that! I'm glad she did.

7. Yes, it was tongue in cheek.....
but I think he meant every word, but just had no way of actually doing it.

4. Here's Media Matters' take on the lack of coverage of that question
Strangely enough, the major media outlets ignored the student's question and the resulting awkward moment.

5. Did I miss something?
I didn't see it in the clip. So, in otherwords, it is not there?
On a side note McCain was not only one the worst students at the Naval Academy
but was voted the worst freshman student at his boarding school.

6. Their point was that it was NOT on the clip.
I saw it on Olberman last night, but I can't find it anywhere on the intertubes. Still looking.
