I'm doin' it again: Al Gore, PLEASE RUN FOR PRESIDENT!
I have now resorted to shameless begging. If either you or your minions ever peruse this blog, please take note: We. Want. You.

Please? Pretty please...?

P.S.--You would SO totally beat the crap out of any Republican.

1. Patience required
and he knows this. It's a loooong time before he needs to announce and though I can hardly wait myself for that moment, I trust his advisers will know exactly when the best time will be.

I think that next fall, say October or November would be a great time after a long, hot summer.
Maybe later? Why give the media anymore time to trash him than they already have now?

We love ya Al Gore! :loveya:

:yourock: :woohoo: :kick:

But see, I'm going to need a giant globe to celebrate his visit to Citrus Bowl.

Not sure this one is big enough:

so i need time to prepare. patience ok. :puffpiece:

He may be playing his cards close to the vest.

He may be trying to see how the wind (turbines) are spinning.

It's still really early in the whole mess. Look for Gore to come out in the fall of '07.

In the meantime, let's keep the encouragement up for him to run, and knock down any neo-con BS.

:edit, spelling...

4. I think you're right. I think the perfect storm is brewing...in his favor.
Once the time is just right, he'll hit the scene. And, it will appear that he's been all but forced to do so by people like us.

5. Yeaaah.. and won't it just seem RIGHT?!
I hope you are right, I hope I'm right.

When I watched THE movie in my living room, all I could think, all my friends could think, was..."Why isn't this man our president?"

He looks like a president. He's the guy. The present occupier of the WH looks like a run-down used car salesman from Midland. Gore looks like he belongs. He talks like he belongs. He has a vision of where we SHOULD be.

<sigh>

6. Absolutely. The guy was born to lead this country.
And he was raised and educated to do just that.

I think it's destiny, and the world will benefit from it.

7. You know what I fear though...
I don't want him flying in small planes anymore...and it ain't about carbon offsets.

Get my drift?

9. I hear you, but I don't share the same fear. Somehow I think he's
going to do it, and going to succeed without intervention. I just have a good, very positive feeling about the whole thing. And strangely, even though he hasn't announced, it feels almost unstoppable to me.

Then again, maybe I'm nuts.

11. I don't know about that. But he'd make a damn fine president,
and I think he's going to do it.

12. I'm with you.
It's just that the spirit of V is where we're at.

Or, perhaps, we're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore.

14. Well, the last elections prove that. Gore will be icing on the cake.
I can't wait for him to announce!
