Anybody watch China Syndrome tonight?
This old movie kinda' reminds me of what's happening today. And when you look at a younger Jane Fonda's face, there it absolutely no doubt who is her dad.

1. Not tonight
but I have seen it a few times. Most excellent flim. Highly recommended.

Nobody plays the part of "Woman Who Wakes Up" quite like Jane. And Jack Lemmon...well, I just cry for missing him.

2. I saw it
I remember when it first came out. Everyone was selling their stock in power companies.

4. Tonight is the first time I've watched that movie since
the first showing in what, 1979? I'm showing my age. It could be worse though, since my sister reminded me of watching John Wayne's classic "The Searchers" when it first came out in the 50s. It cost us a quarter and cokes were a nickle.

7. I was a Navy brat -- in 1975 I could go to the base theatre and see
a movie for thirty five cents. We moved back to New York state and movies were $3.00!!

Man, was that a rude awakening.
