inside tip: military's drug/alcohol problem worse then Viet Nam

http://www.buzzflash.com/articles/mailbag/327

Hi,

Many/many kudos to John & Company for "bird-dogging" this Great Iraq Vets Scandal at Walter Reed. Our wounded Troopers need much more red-hot outrage/mania from the Blogosphere in hopes you will shame the Corporate Media -- too afraid of The TRUTH -- for fear of losing their individual & corporate "Bush tax windfalls<2001-2007>."

And here's an "INSIDE TIP" that explains why Congressman Murtha & other Pentagon Professional Military Insiders are so worried about our "BROKEN" Army/Marine Corps. THE DRUG & ALCOHOL ABUSE AMONG IRAQ/AFGHAN "GIS & JAR HEADS" IS AS BAD OR WORSE THAN IN THE ARMY/MARINE CORPS DURING THE VIETNAMESE WAR!!

The Great New Scandal here is that the White House & Pentagon know about this COVER-UP & are "air-brushing" it to protect Bush's latest Iraq "Escalation" Strategy.

All the GOP does is TALK about "supporting" the troops. Please keep up your campaign of OUTRAGE. We need your continued leadership to expose this COVER-UP & thus support the tens of thousands of wounded/maimed AND drug-alcohol HOOKED troopers thanks to Bush's Preventive Iraq War of his personal choice.

Enraged & outraged in Stuart, FL (Why aren't you?)

3. Can you blame him?
When your life is on the line every waking moment you need an escape mechanism. In Vietnam they had drugs/alchohol in abundance and we all know the results. War is one scary ass shit...

2. A total outrage
Bush has had Congress ante up at least $400 billion for the war (somebody please correct me on the actual figure), but the facilities designed to treat wounded troops are forced to stick out their hand and beg for crumbs.

5. Are our troops in Iraq getting...
any of that smack coming out of Afghanistan? The golden triangle was the problem in Vietnam (and, oddly enough, a hotbed of CIA activity, just like Afghanistan. Hmmmm....).
