Are you worried about the opposition?

President Bush walks out to make a statement with House Republican leaders on the North Portico of the White House in Washington, Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Bush criticized the Congressional Democrats' approach in dealing with the U.S. housing crisis and soaring energy prices. Left to right are Reps. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., Kay Granger, R-Texas, Adam Putnam, R-Fla. and John Boehner, R-Ohio.

3. damn right I am
none of them appear to have two functioning brain cells to rub together, and they have no clue know what morality is. Logic would say ignore them, they are pathetic losers who will vanish.

But reality says be worried - be very, very worried. Because they have built power steadily since the '60s, and they will not go quietly into the night.

4. Not as much as in 2004. The M$M is no longer looked to for
news as much as 4 years ago. I have maintained that the RW media has made the biggest difference. They are slowly becoming less listened to. For instance, I truly believe that a Rev. Wright story 4 years ago would have knocked Obama out. While it did have some effect, not nearly what it would have 4 or 8 years ago. And the William Ayers story has almost no legs at all.
Even Rushie and Hannity are becoming irrelevant.
So when these guys put out a memo to their stenographers, fewer people are ready to listen when the stenographer passes it on.

6. Last night pretty much proved how little anyone cares what the MSM says
clearly they are just talking amongst themselves.

Rev. Wright really should have put Obama away but it didn't. In fact his standing up for a friend probably did more (not that the MSM ever mentioned the first speech a week out from it) than anything else.

5. That's one mess of ...
...useless wiggling protoplasm. Not a shred of human value in the lot.

However, yes, I'm worried about the "opposition", they've proven they are capable of anything, vote like robots, are criminal at their core, and have never read the Constitution.

7. Very
Lame duck is somehow still relevant- that in itself is bad. You'll notice that these people are not acting like an administration on its way out...and that worries me greatly.

8. I'd have to say I am worried.
The GOP is very very very good at winning elections. They seem to know how to do this even when their candidates are terrible, and even when they have just completed disastrous terms in office.

Having said that, I think the tide is against them this election. But ... they had no business winning the last two, and still there they are in the white house.

I hope the Democratic candidate keeps that in mind, at all times.

10. AS I have said before-they are not sound or reasoned
nor do they have history or common sense on their side BUT they are disciplined, very well organized, and incredibly well funded

12. Democrats fall in love. Republicans fall in line.
Also, for reasons that have been endlessly debated, the MSM empirically favors GOP candidates and memes. I see some evidence that maybe even this tide is turning, but for the 2008 election it is clearly going to still be true.

13. I'm more worried....
I'm more worried about the rabid DUers who know nothing more than name calling and hyperbole.

That kind of speech doesn't elevate any discussion.
