PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (AP) - "CSI" co-star Gary Dourdan has been charged with felony possession of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy stemming from his arrest last month, prosecutors said.

The 41-year-old actor was arrested after police found him asleep in his car in Palm Springs on April 28. He was allegedly parked on the wrong side of the street with the car's interior light on.

Prosecutors said Dourdan is scheduled to appear in court in Indio, about 130 miles east of Los Angeles, on May 28. The criminal complaint was dated Tuesday.

2. That is so sad
But others have dragged themselves out (Robert Downey Jr comes to mind), perhaps he will as well.

3. Rather ironic since he had the same issue on the show
last season. Life imitates art?

7. "Method Acting"/The Stanislavksi Method is founded on the use of sensory objects.

You would never use the sensory taste of alcohol, for instance, to create "drunk." The character likely experiences being drunk differently than the actor does. The actor might employ the sensation and sound of rain or a bug crawling up the leg or a particular song to get the effect s/he is hoping to create. You use the objects to achieve your objective in the scene, fill in the gaps between yourself as an actor and the character you are portraying. Art isn't literal. Someone who, actually, gets drunk before a performing a scene during which their character is drunk is not Method acting, they're just unprofessional.

5. Very sad
He's so good on CSI, a fine-looking man whose star seemed to be rising. It makes you wonder what hole in his soul drove him to do this to himself. Hope he can get himself together before losing everything.
