Anything to emphasize his connections to lobbyists.

I really believe that will be his weakness.

The name given to Roger Hobbs (played by James Stewart in Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation) by his grandchildren.

Reminiscent of the "boom" of bombs, while still invoking the "old codger" image, "Boompa McCain" has a nice ring to it.
