Poll question: Essential Viewing for Progressives: Which documentary is the most indispensable for Lefties?
Edited on Sat May-17-08 09:56 PM by marmar
Sorry about the skew toward relatively recent films.....It's all based on movies I've seen.

My pick is The Corporation, because to me, it so explains what grips and is destroying the world right now.

4. My "Other" Vote: for "The Revolution will Not Be Televised." It's a masterpiece
about the 2002 (i think that's the year) attempted coup against Hugo Chavez in Venezuela...

all shot on the scene in real time as it was happening. truly inspiring and well done.

7. I voted for The Corporation
All the other ones are showing are symptoms of the disease that is corporatism. If there is a fatal design flaw in the United States of America, it's our corporate economic structure.
