7. It is great news but
KO fans didn't know he wasn't going to be on last Friday and many new fans were tuning in after that Special Comment last week. That said Rachel rocks.

5. Rachel
My wife loves Rachel so much she's thinking of converting to lesbianism.

Other than that, you just can't beat getting your news from a well informed Rhodes Scholar.

Rachel has the cadence and extremely quick mind that TV likes alot. Keith is also frigging quick, but my sexual identity isn't threatened so much by him, in spite of all those nasty rumors over at the Post.

Divine Justice would call for Rachel to replace Joe Scarboro. That would be really karmic, wouldn't it?

15. Yeah, and Rachel will figuratively SPANK Billo. I know he'd prefer
a literal spanking by Rachel, but who would want to be around him to do it?

13. She's very impressive but...
I feel she leads the questions too much. She has guests who are sympathetic to her views, so she needs to relax and ask open ended questions and not fill in the details within the question. She asks questions in a way that asks and answers within the question. Does anyone else notice this? However, I do find her quite brilliant and was enjoying the way she shuts up the more annoying blowhards on MSNBC when they needed to be shut up.

She is brilliant. Maybe her style of raising questions will settle down as she gains experience on air.

18. I love Rachel, but I damn sure would be disappointed if she
couldn't kick O'Liar's ass with the 25-54 viewers. Only people I know who admit to watching that old turd are really old Repugs. We need to give the young people more credit than that. However, WAY TO GO, RACHEL.:bounce: :bounce:

Countdown beat the other shows in the crucial demographic. In fact, better than CNN and HLN combined.

Also...KO (and Rachel) are closing in on BillO in the overall...pulling in over a million viewers!!! That's over double from a year ago...and still growing.

And what happened to Nancy Grace? The Flaming Nostrils of Justice used to beat out Keith easily and challenge O'Reilly...now her numbers are in the terlit with Bleck.

Congrats Keith, Rachel and Dan...keep fighting the good fight...and we'll keep watching!

24. Rachel's ratings
How could that bump have happened? Do they announce a substitute host beforehand? I don't think so.

So, does she come on and then tens of thousands of people call up tens of thousands of their buds and tell them; "Stop what you're doing immediately and turn to MSNBC. Rachel is guest host. Spread the word!

I don't understand a ratings bump for Rachel if the viewers knew nothing about her guesting in advance.

Just asking...
