us folks in the defense industry, by sending us billions.
Us people in the airline industry, by bailing us out.
Us big corporations (besides those already mentioned) by helping us in our time of need, and even not in times of need.
Us rich folk, by making our lives easier via tax breaks.
Oh, and he protected the rest of us in all this by fighting off the muslim hordes from Iraq who were going to...well, who knows what they could have done or would have, we were protected. Really, we were.
We were saved from certain death. bush was smart enough to save us - we didn't need health care, stem cell research, aid to the poor and unemployed, better care for veterans, mental health care - that was just all us idiots whining about shit. he knew better because he had better intelligence (well sorry, bush and intelligence should not be in the same sentence).
We didn't really need what we were asking for. Just the wealthy and big companies. They knew what they needed to save themselves and he did it for them.
Us for dumb folk here don't know what we need.
Yeah, bush protected us - if by US you mean 2% of Americans.
His leaving office cannot come soon enough.
And the dems damn well better get off their asses and the do the work we hired them to and quit trying to tell me they are protecting me as well by keeping themselves in office by being middle of the road. We can't keep playing it safe because it might help us in the next election.
That election is now. Don't come bitching to me about the mid terms and that you didn't want to upset people so you played it safe.
I have been hearing for years now people are doing things to keep me safe - someday they will listen to what it is we really need.
Quit protecting me from things you fear and start protecting me from the things I do. That is why we PAY you and that is why we hired you.
