195 days and 3 hours until Bush gets away with it...
Just thought I'd remind everyone. As things stand, George W. Bush is going to get away with his crimes. And the Democrats in the House and Senate still aren't doing a damn thing to stop him. Hell, the Supreme Court has been slapping Bush around more than Congress - and this despite the fact that not only did SCOTUS hand Bush the White House, but Bush also appointed two justices to SCOTUS. And they're still slapping him around more on habeas corpus and other issues than our elected Democratic officials are.

I'm feeling a little grumpy this morning. Bush's departure should not be celebrated. It should be viewed with a sense of national shame that our elected officials didn't fight back.

3. Just think how much war can be accomplished in 195 days.
:banghead: And how many can be tortured, and how much spying can be accomplished, and maybe even another cooked up attack on our soil. :banghead:

5. No statute of limitations on crimes against humanity
Bush was never much of a world traveler before becoming president, but entire land masses will be off limits to him when he finally bumbles his way out of the White House.

6. Whoopee...
I'm sorry, but that doesn't cheer me up.

America itself needs to be off limits to George W. Bush - except for a cell at Florence ADX in Colorado.
