We have an administartion running roughshod over the Bill of Rights, gas over $4/gal...
50 million+ Americans with no health insurance, even more who are underinsured, Soldiers dying in Irag for the biggest nothing in American history. Why are the people of Northeast Wisconisin taking to the streets to protest?

For Dave Ward of Theresa and Gregg Schampers of Iron Ridge, the last minute two-hour drive to Green Bay to rally in support of their favorite quarterback was a no-brainer.

The two diehard fans, both wearing No. 4 jerseys, joined about 200 others at the Lambeau Field Atrium to demand that Brett Favre be reinstated.

"We love Brett and what he means to this team; he still has it," Schampers said. "I think he's our best chance to win. He quit too early."

Schampers said he heard about the rally on TV the night before and called up his buddy Ward Sunday morning — all in the hopes of getting the message across that they want Favre back.

2. You have accurately described in a nutshell why Obama even needs to run a campaign
In almost any country in Western Europe, Obama would be looking
at at 75%-25% lead in any poll. You little story accurately portrays
why he still has a fight on his hands.

It's a no-brainer if half the electorate is made up of literal no-brainers.

4. The only reason we are not marching in the streets in this nation...
We are pacified by sports and reality TV.
Any other nation would have been marching on the nations capitol demanding action by the leaders. Here we sit on our fat, and I do mean FAT, asses while the regime destroys what was a grand nation.

8. The bonus marchers of 1932 would hang their heads in shame at this nation.
I used to think that the saying about people getting the government they deserved was mistaken. I was wrong.

13. Remember what happened to the Bonus Marchers.
Basically the same thing that happened in 1786-7 to the Revolutionary vets in western Mass.

Tax the hell out of them, just like King George III did.

This country has never treated it's veterans all that well, IMO.

10. The President is not a monarch...
The Congress merely sits by and lets him act like one. What's up with this?

When I worked near Flint, there was a local school district with all sorts of troubles - finances, student achievement etc etc. Hardly anyone ever showed up for board meetings. ....
But when they voted to fire the football coach, there was a standing-room only overflow angry mob at the board meeting.

Priorities......

11. Government needs to stay out of our e-mails and phone calls
and start getting on the backs of big business to regulate the banking industry, inspect our food supply, and safeguard our imports.
