14. The thing is about NOVA is that they use AP radio news

AP radio news is about as right wing and slanted to the government viewpoint as it comes.
I would say AP radio news is worst than Fox.

I like the LA feed better.

11. The Young Turks, 24 Hours A Day at www.theyoungturks.com, and on XM 167 8am-10am
Edited on Mon Jul-14-08 10:25 AM by ihavenobias
The show loops 24 hours a day at www.theyoungturks.com and runs live M-F from 9-11pm EST (includes a live chat), with a post game show (politics with entertainment and current events) starting at 11pm.

And you can download the first hour of The Young Turks free every day through Itunes.

Finally, there is great news for XM radio subscribers: The Young Turks are now on XM Monday-Friday, 8am-10am EST!

They also just struck a few more deals which I'll be sharing at some point soon.

21. The Young Turks. Can't go wrong with Cenk.
Streams all day and all night. Give a little money and you get member benefits. It's worth it.

And Stephanie Miller is good too.

22. Thom Hartmann is my favorite, but it depends on what you want.
Stephanie Miller is usually funny, but there's not a lot of substance.

If you will allow ActiveX to run on your system you can stream him at http://www.620kpoj.com/main.html and click the listen live link in the upper left.

Alternatively, you can stream him safely from NovaM, I think.

23. True, it does depend
If it's pure information, Hartmann is awesome. He has an insanely large knowledge base and always puts thing in much needed historical and factual context.

If it's pure entertainment, Stephanie Miller is for you. Not much insight but you may get some laughs.

If you want a good mix of both information and entertainment, go with The Young Turks. Honestly, that's why it's my favorite show, because IMO it's the perfect middle ground. It can make you think AND make you laugh, which is pretty rare.
