A bit of hypocrisy I have noticed lately

So the price of gas is going through the roof, groceries are sky high and we are all suffering and struggling to survive in these difficult economic times.

And what is the usual right wing meme when struggling people complain?

"Don't ask the government for help! My tax dollars should not be spent bailing YOU out. We should all take care of ourselves!!"

But what are our right wing Americans doing now that gas has gotten so expensive?

They're begging Congress for help!! Drill for oil! Increase the supply! Lower gas prices NOW!!!

And what are we on the left doing? Are we begging our government to help? No, we are trying to reduce our gas consumption. Tuning up our cars and inflating our tires, driving less, riding bikes, walking instead of driving. Growing our own food.

Hmmm

Anyone else notice this?

Every day lately. They scream "Help us! Help us!!" but take no personal responsibility whatsoever.

asking that there be some regulations put on oil speculation.
