I meant it as a comic attack on GOP hypocrites who pass and support the passage of ever more vicious antigay legislation and then get into "widestance" situations. I'm sorry if that didn't come across.

1. It came across loud and clear.
The ridicule of these assbags could be a sore spot for gays, I suppose. I could tell it wasn't meant to offend, but then, I'm not gay.

9. I could tell it WAS meant bto offend -- how else could you read it???
There have been SCORES of these exact type threads on here, many used as a cover for homophobic posts. They have no place on DU.

11. I hadn't read DU for most of the previous week. Had I read them, I wouldn't have posted it.
I shouldn't have, clearly.

3. Yeah, that is pretty disgusting.
Not that I want this thread to be a "most disgusting bathroom sights" competition, but still. :puke:

7. How could you see him peeing on the seat? And that he was Republican?
Gee that's a lot of info gathering for a bathroom visit.

12. Well, that wasn't how it was intended, and I regret making you feel that way.
It was aimed at your enemies, not at you. Sorry.

10. Go back and re-read some Lester Bangs
Keep this in mind when you're posting something: ". . . trouble begins when you fail to realize that no matter how harmless your intentions are, there is no reason to think that any shit that comes out of your mouth is going to be understood or happily received." That's from the anthology Psychotic Reactions and Carburetor Dung, a book that's readily available if it's not already on your bookshelf.
